​Jake Boyce
ABOUT US

Jake Boyce is a 21 year old Choreographer, Actor, Singer, and Dancer. He was won awards in many of his different fields, and has been involved in these industries combined for 10 years.
Jake studied Classical and Musical Theatre Voice under the direction of David Goulet from 2004 to 2012. He competed in several National Association of Teachers of Singers competitions in both Classical and Musical Theatre, and won first in his division in 2010 at the age of 16 for Classical. Jake released his first and only studio recorded single on iTunes at the age of 15, which was produced and recorded at The Studio in Portland, Maine.
Jake most recently appeared on stage as Jack in Community Little Theater's production of Into The Woods (2015), in which he was also Assistant Director and Assistant Choreographer. Other recent roles include but are not limited to Graffiti Pete in In The Heights, Seaweed in Hairspray, Apostle Andrew in Jesus Christ Superstar, Fergus/Ensemble in All Shook Up, and he has been in The Fatasticks, King & I, and A Comedy of Errors at theaters such as Lyric Music Theatre, Portland Players, and Community Little Theatre.
He has choreographed for high schools and is on the production team at Community Little Theatre as a Choreographer, where he has choreographed Annie, The Teen Musical Theatre Showcase, and Assistant Choreographed Hairspray. He also holds a position at the theater in the Directors Apprenticeship Program. Jake also held position as Dance Captain for All Shook Up at Portland Players, and Dance Captain for Jesus Christ Superstar at Portland Players. Jake also held the title as Choreographer for The University of Southern Maine Dance Team in Fall of 2013, before transferring to a school of dance in 2014. Jake studied dance at Terpsicore in Portland, Maine, and often returns to USM to teach Musical Theatre Dance workshops. He is currently studying dance and obtaining in B.A. with a concentration in choreography at the Joan Phelps Palladino School of Dance. His training includes Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Tap, and Hip Hop.
